Christine Johnson

I am a contemporary jewellery artist and work mostly in metal (mainly silver). I have based many of my jewellery designs on the lines and spines in feathers. For me, repetition and optical illusion are important aspects, as well as wearability. I try to make beautiful pieces which are also visually interesting. Some of them are kinetic with internal mechanisms. These are based on interference patterns and allow the wearer to play with and change the patterns as they wish.
